The Spell Book

I only read two chapters of the book, Chapter 1: Preparation for Long Life and Chapter 2: How it Works. I never thought this would be something I’d be reading about. My parents never showed any signs of them wanting to live longer.

But it makes me question, if someone was really after this book, that must mean that my parents either stole it or just never returned it to sender.  Maybe that is why “The Unknown” is pressuring me about it.

So far, I used this spell on Sidney. The spell is supposed to help Sidney live longer, but I messed things up by allowing the book to get out of my hands when Sidney destroyed it. I think this is why my own shadow comes and goes.

I feel like I’am being punished for not telling her the reason our parents were killed. Contact me because I need encouraging words getting though this. I was only curious to read it because this is what they left behind.
